Head to head
Logitech MX Master 3S vs Lift: Which Ergonomic Mouse Wins? (2026)
MX Master 3S vs Lift compared: sculpted productivity vs vertical wrist relief. Honest recommendation for each hand and workflow.
#1 in our rankings · Best overall

Logitech MX Master 3S
Best for: Office workers and creators who want the best scroll wheel and multi-device control.
Our recommendation
Choose the MX Master 3S if you want the most capable mouse: better sensor, better scroll wheel, more customization. Choose the Lift if wrist pronation is your actual problem: the vertical grip is the only thing here that changes your wrist angle. Features versus geometry, that is the whole decision.
Grip and wrist angle
The 3S is a sculpted horizontal mouse: comfortable, but your wrist stays pronated. The Lift holds the hand at 57 degrees, which un-twists the forearm. If a doctor or physio told you to reduce pronation, only the Lift does that.
Sensor and scroll
The 3S has an 8K DPI Darkfield sensor that tracks on glass and the MagSpeed electromagnetic wheel. The Lift tops out at 4000 DPI with a standard smooth wheel. For precision work and long documents, the 3S is clearly superior.
Features and connectivity
Both offer Bluetooth and Logi Bolt with three-device pairing and quiet clicks. The 3S adds the gesture button, horizontal scroll wheel, Flow cross-computer control, and USB-C recharging. The Lift runs on a AA battery and skips the extras.

Choose Logitech Lift Vertical if…

Questions, answered
Can I use both mice with the same Logi Bolt receiver?
Logi Bolt receivers pair with multiple compatible devices, so one receiver can serve both mice, though you would normally use one mouse at a time.
Which is better for small hands?
The Lift is the more compact of the two and suits small to medium hands. The 3S is a large mouse that small hands may find a stretch.
